Met my friend Craig Danger at Jimmy Carter's Mexican Restaurant today in Banker's Hill. No relation to the ex-president (I'm assuming). I had a fish burrito with rice and beans, and it was quite good. Danger had the eggs benedict. I had heard that the food was sketchy there, but I thought it was very good.
After that, it was down the street to the awesome Flimzy's Vinyl Records shop for some crate diggin'. Danger came out of there with a Dionne Warwick album. I came out with far too many records again, per usual. Over all the haul was about $110. I can't seem to keep to that double digit limit. This was mostly because I found 3 unopened, full price albums that I just had to have: The Spits (my favorite punk band of all time), the Repo Man soundtrack (one of my all time favorite movies and soundtracks of all time) and Dave Brubeck's "Time Out" (my all time favorite jazz album). SO... I can't complain too much.
Thank you, Flimzy's! Until next time
