After a bad night's sleep and a morning of meetings, I decided to "post in sick" on Slack for the rest of the afternoon. I really did intend to just crash out for the rest of the afternoon, but after laying in bed for about an hour with no sleep coming, I decided to give up. Instead, I went out for a killer sandwich at Ike's, proceeded by a trip to one of my favorite record stores: Folk Arts Rare Records in City Heights. As per usual, I got swept up into a vortex and only resurfaced an hour later at the counter holding about $117 worth of records. A perfect day!
