On a lark, I went to M Theory in Mission Hills on Valentine's Day. I hadn't been for years. Within 30 seconds I found Curve's Doppelganger for $37.99, and picked it up immediately. Pricey, but all new vinyl is like that these days and this is one of my favorite albums of all times. It's not even on streaming, I've had to listen to it on YouTube- until now. So A great start!
From there, I was pleased to find they had great used record sections. I found lots of great folk/bluegrass, filled in some gaps in my Doc Watson and Earl Scrubbs collection for a great price. Then of course there was the very used section- everything $3 or 5 for $10. Found some great and interesting stuff in there, and wound up getting 10 from this section alone.
All in all a great pull, and baaaarely scraped past my usual $100 limit. I'll definitely not stay away from M Theory for so long again! Happy Valentines to me!
