Got this for $1.99 on Record Store Day at Flimzy's Vinyl Records. I know nothing about this artist, except that the cover is gold. I expected this album to be full-on corny, but it's not- it's only about half-corny. Half of this album are gentle instruments that you wouldn't even think came from a banjo. Maybe they don't, I'm not sure, I'll have to research it. These have an old Hawaiian feel to them. Of course the other half are jaunty-as-fuck strum-a-thons that are almost polka like. Overall, I'd say I got my $1.99's worth!
