Ok I was diverted earlier today, but now I'm back to my initial itch to scratch- Kate Bush's "The Sensual World". Where do I even begin when talking about Kate Bush? As a kid I was just obsessed with her and her entire catalog, I had every cassette (yep, I'm that old). In more recent years, she reissued all her works on vinyl, and I shelled out a pretty penny to snatch most of them up- The Kick Inside through this one. Honestly, the Red Shoes on are all good as well, but not my favorite, and holy jesus I spent a lot just getting what I got. So there are limits to my fandom, I suppose. But there are no limits to my love of Kate, and this one is up there as one of my favorites (it's really hard to pick just one absolute favorite, but Never For Ever is close).
Anyways, this is sounding so good to me right now. Time to post this and hunker down for an afternoon's Nyquil nap. Ahhhh... 💤
