Woke up at 2:30am and couldn't get back to sleep. Again. So instead of just lying there for another hour with my thoughts racing, I decided to get up and spin a record- something I haven't done in a couple weeks.
I decided to break out the 2025 remaster of "Gala" by Lush, which I only ordered last week. I wasn't working when the pre-order came out last year, and by the time I was working again it seemed to be sold out for a long time. Then I forgot about it until last week when I was on a Lush kick again. Seeing it was available again, I pulled the trigger on it, plus an album by Bing and Ruth.
Anyways, now I'm playing it, and it's delightful, of course. Gala has always been my favorite by them. For the longest time, it was really the only album I liked by them, but since I've embraced most of their all-too-short catalog.
Okay enough of this rambling, I just want to listen to it and maybe cop some z's. Good night! Well, good morning, I guess...
