It's 3 a.m. and I can't sleep. I can think of no better time to listen to my second Paper Dollhouse cassette. As with the first one that I listened to earlier today, I believe this is the first time I've ever played it. This time, I'm listening via Bluetooth on my BOSE Quiet Comfort headphones from my fly new Pink Floyd cassette player. I feel like maybe the fidelity is better this way compared to via line out to my computer speaker system. Or is that just a headphones vs. external speakers / apples vs. oranges comparison? I'll have to play each of these on the other system and compare, but I swear that when playing Volume 1 earlier I thought the fidelity was generally a little lesser than I'm used to hearing this recording. I'll have to get to the bottom of this, dear Watson.
