After being on a major Stranglers kick over the last year or so, I finally broke down and got them on vinyl. La Folie is not necessarily my favorite album of theirs (that would probably be either The Raven, Feline or Aural Sculpture) but it sits squarely in my favorite period of them. And come on, who doesn't love "Golden Brown", I don't care if you think you've heard it too many times. Plus other bangers like "Non Stop", "Everybody Loves You When You're Dead"... it's a great album, if only slightly uneven compared to other albums of theirs.
