Olatunji's "Afro Percussion" album was the next record I played (yesterday) from yesterday's Folk Arts Rare Records pull. As soon as I came across this in the store, it triggered a wave of recognition and nostalgia. I was almost 100% sure that this was in my father's collection growing up, but I couldn't remember what it sounded like. Listening to it now... I still don't remember it from back in the day. But that's okay, because I hear it now and love it. Definitely needed to listen to this sort of thing more often than I do...
