Hello! I'm a recent refugee from Facebook and Instagram, having escaped the increasing Trumpiness I was seeing there. Now I'm on BlueSky, which is cool. It reminds me of the way Twitter used to be, before it also succumbed to Trumpiness and became X.
Anyways, given this change of scenery, I got to thinking that it might be fun to keep a humble little blog again, and link to it from Bsky posts. Or not! Or just to have some fun and play around with Ghost again. In the past, I'd used it for personal blogging and building a site for my band, Magical Animals. I'll probably build that site again, and use this as my playground to ramp up. I have to say- setting this up was WAY easier this time around, thanks to the awesome hosting at DigitalOcean.
So look to this space for posts mostly about nothing. Records I'm playing on my turntable (which I used to post regularly in Instagram Stories, the thing I miss the most about Instagram). Photos I've taken of my dog, of plants, of the amazing skies of El Cajon (no really! the BEST skies!). Random thoughts. Music I'm into. Whatever. Enjoy!
